A Palestinian suspected of placing bombs aboard two U.S. jetliners that killed five people will be tried in Athens on charges of entering Greece on a forged passport, a security official said Monday. The Palestinian, Mohammed Rashid, 34, has been held at Greek security police headquarters since a tip from the U.S. Embassy led to his arrest June 1 at Athens Airport. The United States is seeking Rashid's extradition for his alleged involvement in the bombings of the U.S. jets.
