Home-based businesses are becoming more popular for people wanting to supplement their income so the West Jordan Chamber of Commerce and Utah State University will hold a seminar to help people considering starting a home-based business or those already operating one.

It will be held June 23 at 6:30 p.m. in the West Jordan City Council Chambers, 1850 W. 78th South. Registration by June 20 is $10 or $15 at the door.Subjects scheduled for discussion by the presenters Barbara Rowe and Marion Bentley of the USU Extension Service will be acquiring capital, handling taxes, advertising and promotion, working with employees and customers, gaining copyrights, patents and trademarks.
