Missionaries in the Spain Malaga Mission met their goal of 300 baptisms.

Did you know that you can send a virtual Christmas Card to your Facebook friends filled with a beautiful Christmas Mormon Messages video? You first choose a pre-designed Christmas card, write a nice holiday message to your facebook friend(s) and then embed your choice of four Christmas-themed Mormon Messages videos including "The Coat" which I highlight below. Click 'Send Card" to post the Christmas Card to the walls of the facebook friends you chose, where they can access the card, watch the video, and send an e- card to their friends if they wish. How nice is this? What a beautiful way to send some virtual greetings, courtesy of the church/Mormon Channel.

Speaking of beautiful videos with touching messages, “Do You Have Room?” is the question of this nice post that features the lovely song of the same name by Shawna Edwards. It is just one of the many beautiful musical videos you’ll find featured throughout the Bloggernacle at this time of the year.

As mentioed above, "The Coat" is the newest video from Mormon Messages, and while not specifically Christmas in theme it is a wonderful story about the importance of giving, told with both music and animation (and, if I'm not mistaken, it is taken from a story of President Heber J. Grant as a boy). It’s a perfect video to share with the children in your life, as it illustrates charity and being like the Savior.

Now to Africa, where you can enjoy a bit of “A Nigerian Christmas” from a ward party of a few years ago. Watch these Nigerian Saints beautifully sing “Silent Night.” Cool!

Finally, these Japanese Saints put a smile on my face with their lovely renditions of “Far, Far Away on Judea’s Plains” and “Angels We Have Heard on High” and “Joy to the World.” Love it!

Now let’s view other beautiful posts from throughout the Bloggernacle:

Power pick: These missionaries in the Spain Malaga Mission gave their mission president an “Early Christmas Present” of making their goal of 300 baptisms! Wow! And scroll through the photos of many of the new members who were all a part of this goal. Way to go!

Mormon moment:You know you’re in Sanpete” when you can snap a picture of a snow version of the Manti Temple as you’re driving through town. Awesome.

Techie tip: If you have an iPhone or iPad, then you are in luck. There have been some amazing “Updates to the Gospel Library App” for Apple mobile users: “You can now listen to audio narrations for English scriptures, general conference addresses, magazines and some lesson material. You can also watch videos of general conference addresses and other material. When you’re viewing content with media playback options, a play button appears enabled in the lower-right corner of the app.”

Unfortunately, you will need to uninstall and then reinstall the Gospel Library app to take advantage of these amazing new features. Also included? A better integration of “My Study Notebook” and “The iOS Gospel Library" app also integrates with LDS Music. When you view a song from the hymn book or "Children’s Songbook," a link labeled "Open in LDS Music" appears at the top of the screen. When you click the link, the song opens in LDS Music, which shows sheet music and plays audio.” Awesome. I can’t wait until this is available in other app platforms.
