My interest in books related to doctrines of the gospel began at a young age. Over the years I have read most of the books which would be considered "essential reading" for the Mormon scholar. Yet as the years have gone by, I have turned less and less to these "essential readings" for answers to gospel questions and more and more to the standard works. I can say without reservation that no book has strengthened my testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ more than The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Christ.
