This week in YourTimes, we want to hear about your favorite book (other than those included in the standard works) that has deepened your knowledge of the gospel and why.

As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we have been instructed, "Seek ye out of the best books words of wisdom." While the standard works are included among the "best books," other books can be valuable as well.

In a September 1998 Ensign article titled "The Truth Shall Make You Free," President James E. Faust said, "Members of the church are encouraged to seek learning from all good books and from any helpful source. For 'if there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.'"

What praiseworthy book has deepened your knowledge of the gospel?
