The Amasa Mason Lyman family will hold a three-day reunion today at 10 a.m. through Saturday at 4:30 p.m. in Salt Lake City.As part of the event, Elder Dallin H. Oaks of the Quorum of the Twelve will speak Friday at 7 p.m. at the Grant Stake Center, 3151 S. 900 East. Other events include a memorabilia museum, tours of family sites, individual family reunions, monologues, musical performances and a talk Saturday at 2:05 p.m. by LDS historian Richard Lyman Bushman on "The Three Lives of Amasa Mason Lyman."Lyman, an original pioneer to enter the Salt Lake Valley, was a member of the Quorum of the Twelve and in the First Presidency at the time of the Prophet Joseph Smith's death.Registration for the reunion is at the Ridgedale Ward building, 3400 S. 1100 East.
