Last week, the Deseret News showed a stark contrast between the two major political parties in regards to job creation. One party recently held a summit looking for government answers to the 10 percent unemployment rate. Some of their solutions included: using bailout money, taxing financial transactions, additional federal spending, providing government loans and infrastructure spending. A leader of the other party basically said, the best way for the federal government to stimulate the economy is for them to get out of the way of entrepreneurs. I agree. It seems like government is the problem, not the solution.
