ESCONDIDO, Calif. — The Escondido and Escondido California South stakes are teaming up to perform radio broadcast formats of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" and the birth of Christ from Luke for their annual Christmas Concert in the California Center for the Arts, Escondido, on Dec. 22 at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

Tickets are $6 for reserved seating and are on sale at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido, box office at artscenter.org.

Directed by Justin and Cathy Gray of the Felicita Ward, Escondido South Stake, the program features variety acts, a 100-voice choir and soloists and a professional 11-piece band. Before and in between the two radio shows, members of the stake will share their talents in song and dance. Acts will include a bell choir, line dancing, solo dancing, singing and comedy acts.
