SPANISH FORK — A Spanish Fork man accused of having a penchant for petty theft was arrested Friday.

The 25-year-old told police he committed three thefts at Spanish Fork High School, taking cash and an iPod, according to an affidavit filed in 4th District Court.

He also said he stole loose change from a Spanish Fork dentist's office and broke into several personal hygiene machines on the BYU campus, again taking change. In addition, he admitted to stealing hundreds of dollars from four apartments on the campus, police said.

Police questioned the man after he went to Cold Stone Creamery on North Main Street in Spanish Fork and said he wanted to repay $250 he had stolen from an employee's purse there two weeks ago.

He was booked for investigation of burglary, theft and criminal trespassing.
