Sushi for Santa/Angel's Hands Foundation Benefit takes place Dec. 11, 7:30-11:30 p.m., at EnergySolutions Arena. Local chefs will roll out a variety sushi in this third annual fundraiser. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door for all you-can eat sushi. A silent auction also helps raise funds for AHF, with a mission of improving the quality of life for families facing rare diseases. Bambara, 222 S. Main, is offering a three-course "Clara's Dream" menu to celebrate performances of "The Nutcracker" at Capitol Theatre. Whole Foods shoppers in the Rocky Mountain region have raised more than $478,000 in meals through the grocery chain's Grab & Give program. The stores will donate the meals to local food banks. The program continues through Dec. 31 at local Whole Foods markets.
