VOLLEYBALL: The Wildcats picked up their first conference victory of the season with a 3-1 win over Idaho State on Friday night at the Swenson Gym. The 'Cats snapped a three-match losing streak with a 25-12, 27-25, 22-25, 25-21 win to improve to 9-6 overall and 1-2 in Big Sky action.

The Wildcats had 66 kills on the night, compared to just 43 for the Bengals. Weber State also posted 73 digs, beating Idaho State by 24 in that category. WSU also out hit Idaho State .285 to .138.

Junior Jenna Leggat led Weber State with a season-high 16 kills, with 10 of them coming in the first set. She also hit .289 for the match and posted seven digs. Chelsea Bair had her seventh double-double with 15 kills and a season-high 17 digs. She also became the 10th Wildcat in school history with 1,000 career kills. Senior Leah Burmeister also posted season-highs with 13 kills and 13 digs for her first double-double of the year and the 30th of her career. Brittney Bisaillon was the fourth Wildcat in double figures with kills, finishing the night with 11 kills and seven blocks while posting a .429 hitting percentage. Caitlyn Anderson also posted 15 digs for the Wildcats.
