A jury returned a guilty verdict Thursday for a man accused leaving several pipe bombs at a Layton carwash last year.

Raymond Bradley Parr, 48, of Layton, faces up to 10 years in prison when he is sentenced Dec. 8 in U.S. District Court.

Police said Parr abandoned multiple bombs at the car wash in September 2007.

He was originally charged with possession of an unregistered destructive device and an explosives storage violation, but the storage charge was dropped prior to his trial this week.
