Roger Terry has his nose high in the air (Readers' Forum, Sept. 24). His definition of "intelligent" sounds elitist. I have no idea how he can look down on us poor rabble who only get "C's" with his nose so high. President Bush — whom I am sure he is referring to — graduated with honors from an elite East Coast school.

Barack Obama, who I am sure is the intelligent one he is referring to, surely has several things going for him: questionable real estate deals, associations with a known terrorist and the Rev. Wright, who curses America and all it stands for.

Give me John McCain, a hero with character, and small-town Sarah Palin any day, week or year.
