Much of the criticism leveled against the media is that journalists never report good news. Thankfully, its been easy to find the good news about LDS service, humanitarian and welfare efforts around the world. From bore holes providing clean water to Ugandans to a Michigan man who turned his yard into a garden, it's inspiring to read about this worldwide service.

LDS church members helped collect a "world record" amount of food donations in Calgary. More than 7,000 LDS volunteers distributed bags to nearly 360,000 homes and businesses in Calgary before returning to pick up the goods.
