The final "star party" of the season will be held at Cedar Break National Monument's Point Supreme overlook on Saturday.

Join a ranger and astronomy volunteers beginning at 9 p.m. at Point Supreme for star viewing through several large telescopes. Visitors who own telescopes can bring them.

The National Park Service will host a screening of the musical "Can't Help Singing" at the monument on that day as well.

The 1944 movie was filmed in part at Cedar Breaks. The film will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the visitors center. Park-entrance fees will be waived starting at 7 p.m. for those attending the movie.

Visitors are encouraged to dress warmly, as nighttime temperatures could be in the mid- to upper 30s, and they can bring a thermos with warm beverages and folding chairs.

Flashlights can be used to assist in finding your way to and from your car, but visitors are asked to leave flashlights turned off at the observation site.
