One man's graffiti is another's "art." Energy companies want to drill gas wells up Nine Mile Canyon near Price. The gas will provide economical warmth for children, homes, schools and hospitals. This is opposed by noodniks who oppose anyone drilling anywhere. They kick and scream that the drilling will damage the thousand-year-old "art" (graffiti) on the canyon walls. These etchings that have withstood a millennium of sand storms, hail storms and solar bleaching are now going to be destroyed by trucks passing by? Please, don't insult my intelligence.
