MURRAY — At least man was taken into custody, possibly in connection with a double homicide earlier today in Salt Lake City.

Officers in Murray received a phone call at about 8 a.m. indicating there was something regarding the "double homicide" in the area of 4600 South and 600 East, said Murray police detective Kenny Bass.

Once Murray police arrived, it was determined that Salt Lake police officers should respond. An area of the street was blocked off and one man was seen being taken away in a patrol car in handcuffs.

The Murray incident follows the shooting deaths of two men whose bodies were found in a driveway at 4:52 a.m. near 500 North and 1000 West in Salt Lake City. A pair of bicycles were found nearby. More details will be released as they become available.
