Bountiful's Kevin Anderson was nearly perfect — to the exact point — in Week 5 of the Deseret News Prep Grid Picks Contest. Anderson picked all 12 games correctly, and he won on the tiebreaker when he missed guessing the final score of the Davis-Layton game by just one point. Anderson wins $50 and a Grid Picks T-shirt.

It must have been an easy week to pick high school football games because 18 of the 723 participants picked all 12 games correctly. The tiebreaker determined which of the 18 perfect pickers were considered runners-up, and those participants won Grid Picks T-shirts. They are: Claud Williams, Hyrum; Joseph Mitchell, Blanding; Curtis Page, Sarasota Springs; Joseph Ipson, South Jordan; Kerry Garfield, Henefer; and Casey Wiseman, Layton.

This week's contest begins today at noon. Click on the Grid Picks link at deseretnews.com/sports to play.
