Newly naturalized citizens will be honored Sunday by the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area during its annual fee-free days, which will be in effect Saturday and Sunday.

Secretary of the Interior Dirk Kempthorne welcomed the new citizens in a statement on July 4th and invited them to visit U.S. national parks. In response, the National Park Service designated Sept. 28 as a fee-free day to honor them.
