WEST VALLEY CITY — Police were looking for a man who robbed a fast-food restaurant Wednesday morning after climbing through the drive-through window.

About 12:15 a.m. a man climbed through the drive-through window at Wendy's, 5673 W. 6200 South, brandished a knife at employees, took money from the cash register and left, said West Valley police Capt. Tom McLachlan. None of the employees were hurt.

Police K9s were called to the area but had no scent to track, McLachlan said, meaning the robber likely had a vehicle nearby.

Anyone with information on the robbery can call police at 840-4000.
