As gas prices drop, our fares at UTA are rising. This new fare will be $75 for a monthlong pass. They say that the price of gas is increasing. This will mark the fourth time in a year the fare has increased. How can they justify this fare increase when the price of gas and crude oil has been dropping for the past month and a half? We were assured with the last fare increase that the fare would either stay the same or decrease. How long is this sham going to continue before consumers stand up and demand accountability?
