MEN'S SOCCER: The Griffins used two second-half goals to claim a 2-1 victory over Embry-Riddle (Ariz.) at Dumke Field on Saturday.

The win improves the Griffins' record to 5-1-2 overall and 5-0-1 at home.

Westminster's Mark Stoker scored in the 49th minute to tie it at 1-1 when he put away a pass from Rue Van Dyke. Cameron Wynhof scored the game-winner in the 77th minute when he rebounded a Robert Ward shot past the keeper. Griffins' goalkeeper Val Cambell recorded five saves in the intense win, which featured eight yellow cards and 29 total fouls.

WOMEN'S SOCCER: Maddie Spere provided all the offense in a 2-1 win for the Griffins over Embry-Riddle (Ariz.) on Sunday afternoon. Westminster outshot the Eagles 11-3 in recording a fourth straight win, improving to 5-3-0 on the season.

Spere struck first in the 13th minute when she took a Maddie Maldonado through ball and buried it past the Eagles' keeper for a 1-0 lead. In the 65th minute, Spere took a Jen Pirente one-touch pass and slid it under the keeper for the game-winner.
