On Thursday, the Times ran a three-quarter-page feature story headlined "Connecting on the Field and as Family" on Hall and brother-in-law, Dennis Pitta. The Times wrote:

Two weeks into this season, a newly minted brother-in-law combination has emerged as the most effective quarterback-receiver combination in the country...

"It's a sweet deal to have a brother-in-law and a tight end like Dennis (Pitta) around," Max Hall said. See also an Arizona Republic report.
