Weber State quarterback Cameron Higgins was named the Co-Offensive Player of the Week in the Big Sky Conference sharing the award with Montana wide receiver Mark Mariani.

Higgins completed 18-23 passes for 333 yards and a career high five touchdown passes in WSU's 44-7 home field win over Dixie State College. He began the game with 14 straight completions, six shy of the school mark of 20. Four of his five TD tosses came in the first half as the 'Cats built up a 34-7 halftime lead. Three of the five TD catches were by tight end Cody Nakamura who had a career high five receptions for a career high 85 yards.

Higgins also had five rushing yards giving him 338 total offensive yards.
