WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL: The Aggies lost their final match at the 2008 Utah Classic to Saint Louis in four sets, 25-12, 22-25, 17-25, 24-26, on Saturday to finish the tournament tied for third-place. USU is now 1-9 on the season with the loss, while Saint Louis improves to 6-3 with the win.

Freshman outside hitter Liz McArthur (St. George, Utah) recorded her first career double-double for Utah State, as she posted career-highs with 12 kills and 12 digs. Senior outside hitter Melissa Osterloh (Sandy, Utah) added 11 kills, six digs and four blocks for the Aggies, while sophomore libero Christine Morrill (Neola, Utah) added 13 digs.

Osterloh was named to the all-tournament team after averaging 3.92 points, 3.17 kills, 1.25 digs and 1.17 blocks per game.

WOMEN'S SOCCER: Sophomore Lauren Hansen scored a goal and added an assist to help the Aggies move to 3-0-1 at home with a 2-1 win over UTEP on Sunday at Chuck and Gloria Bell Soccer Field.

With the win, Utah State is now 3-4-1 overall, while the Miners fall to 5-2 with the loss. This was the Aggies' first-ever win over the Miners.

Junior Erin Salmon scored her second goal of the season for the game-winner.
