Before the schools' football teams meet the next day in Logan, the Utah and Utah State women's soccer teams will play tonight at Ute Field at 7:30.

Off to their worst start in program history, the 1-5 Utes will try to regroup and get back on the winning track against a 2-3-1 Aggie team that broke a three-game losing streak with a 3-0 win over Northern Colorado last week. Utah is 9-1 all-time vs. USU and 5-0 at home.

The Utes are led by Kelly Isleib, who has three goals on the year, and Katy Reineke and Lauren Hair, who each have a goal this year.

Utah State is led by Shantel Flanary, who has five points on the year, and goalkeeper Ali Griffin, who has a 1.10 goals-against average.

"Every year the match against Utah State is fiercely contested and high-paced," said Utah coach Rich Manning. "(Utah State) is always well organized, and we expect another battle."

After tonight's game, the Utes hit the road again to face Loyola Marymount on Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles.
