Why did Salt Lake City's KUTV News play up a "controversial story" from Gilbert, Ariz., that a "post-Mormon" group had put up a billboard when similar billboards along Utah's highways appear to be no big deal to the station? Why did editors at the Arizona newspaper that originated the story think the billboard was news in the first place?

After teasing the "controversy" for the evening news Monday, the last line of the KUTV report said: "It is the eighth billboard put up by the group, with previous ones in Logan, Idaho Falls, Pocatello, Provo, St. George, and two in Salt Lake City."
