Fabian Espindola still doesn't know the extent of his injury he sustained while celebrating what he thought was a goal against the Los Angeles Galaxy Saturday night. The X-rays taken Monday showed there was not a break as originally thought, and the Argentinian forward is waiting for the results of a second MRI done Monday afternoon.
Although the score was later disallowed due to a delayed offsides call, Espindola did a couple of back flips while celebrating what he thought was the first goal of the game. He pulled up injured after landing.
"This has never happened to me. I don't know why it happened," Espindola said after the game. "I've done it thousands of times before. I guess it had to happen sooner or later."
