Dr. Natalie Kay Loewen has joined Intermountain Medical Group, specializing in obstetrics and gynecology at Intermountain OB/GYN Specialists. Loewen previously worked at another medical group in Salt Lake City. Loewen also serves as adjunct faculty member and clinical proctor at the University of Utah and is an active staff member at University of Utah Hospital, LDS Hospital and Salt Lake Regional Medical Center.

Micheal Matthews has joined Far West Bank as residential lender. Matthews has more than 10 years of experience, specializing in client relationships and lending.

Mark J. Carpenter has joined Republic Bank as a senior vice president and chief credit officer. Carpenter has 30 years of banking experience. He has experience in business finance, having served as chief credit officer at another company. His education includes degrees from the University of Utah.

Eric Weight has joined ArrowStar Construction as a superintendent. He has 27 years of experience in commercial and residential construction.

• America First Credit Union has named three new managers. Tamara Pocock has been promoted to manager of the Sandy Harmons branch. Pocock has been with America First since 1996, starting as a teller at the West Valley Harmons branch. She has served as backup lead teller, lead teller and most recently, assistant manager of the Cottonwood Branch. Amy Frenza has been named manager of the Provo Macey's branch. She began working at the credit union in 2004 as a teller at the American Fork Wal-Mart branch. She then became a lead teller at the Orem Wal-Mart branch and has been serving as the assistant manager at the American Fork branch. Suzann Farnsworth has been selected as the manager of the St. George Harmons branch. Farnsworth has served at the St. George Harmons location for the past nine years.

Jon Coleman has opened Newpark Dentistry at Kimball Junction in Park City. Coleman has practiced dentistry in Salt Lake City for 16 years. His education includes a degree from the University of Utah. Joining in the move are Annalee Hull, with 11 years experience as a dental hygienist; dental assistant Barbara Cykalewicz, who has six years of experience in dentistry; and office manager Gina Esparza, who has six years experience in her field.

Danny Brand has been appointed Mountain West regional manager for The Marlin Co. Brand has more than 20 years of experience in business development, strategic marketing, sales and management roles. Previously, Brand was vice president of business development for a pair of companies, vice president of marketing for another, and senior director of strategic marketing for yet another. He also spent seven years in technical and product management roles at a pair of other companies. His education includes a degree from Brigham Young University.

Gail Frankoski, Miranda Barnard, Courtney Morton and Amanda Holty have been promoted at Integrated Marketing Group. Frankoski has been named director of marketing. An employee of IMG since 2000, she will oversee the planning and execution of integrated marketing programs for numerous natural-products clients. Barnard is director of public relations. She has experience in national consumer publicity. With IMG for three years, she has been responsible for developing public-relations strategies and maximizing exposure opportunities for IMG clients and will now manage all aspects of the PR department. Morton has been promoted to senior public-relations counsel. A part of IMG for more than four years, Morton will be managing client strategy development, media outreach and collateral development. Holty is now public-relations counsel. Holty joined IMG in 2004 and will execute PR activity surrounding product launches, trade-show publicity and ongoing media-relations efforts.

Steve Patten has been named vice president and manager of the new Pleasant Grove office of Central Bank. Patten previously was vice president and manager of the Central Bank Provo office and has more than 20 years of banking experience. Working with Patten will be Brannen Trost and Jesse Hurren as loan officers. Trost has been with Central Bank for more than eight years, while Hurren has been with Central Bank for more than four years.

Joel Portice and Dr. Charles "Charlie" Stewart have joined HealthCare Insight as vice presidents. Portice is vice president of fraud services. Portice has more than 18 years of experience in health-care software and analytics, with an extensive background in general management, business development and planning, systems implementation and integration, and sales and marketing. He also spent part of his career in government, serving as a legislative aide to U.S. Sen. Tom Daschle. Stewart, vice president of dental services, has several years of experience in the dental field and has taught at two university dental schools, in addition to practicing dentistry in Kentucky and Georgia. He left private practice and dental education after 11 years and entered the dental-benefits industry, where he spent more than 18 years working with residential insurers and consulting private health-care companies.

David Van Epps has been appointed at Broadcast International as senior vice president and general manager of BI Networks. He has 25 years of experience in developing businesses focused on media, communications and the retail customer experience. Van Epps will oversee the continued expansion of BI Networks' client portfolio and will oversee the company's network solutions. He previously was chief executive officer and president of another company.

Teresa Callahan and Nathan Buckner have joined Comco Construction Inc. Callahan is project engineer and will work with project managers and subcontractors in the construction of projects. She has several years of experience in the construction industry. Bucker is the newest member of the project manager team. he will participate in development of construction projects and oversee budget, organization, scheduling and implementation. He has several years of experience in construction and project management. His education includes degrees from the University of Utah.

Jason Strickland has been named vice president of corporate development at Allegiance Inc. He will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships with systems integrators, value-added resellers, market researchers, consultants, original equipment manufacturers and others. He previously was a founding member and vice president of national sales for another company. His education includes a degree from Brigham Young University.

• Staker Parson Cos. has announces several changes in its finance and accounting departments. Doug Peterson, the recent vice president of finance and chief financial officer, has accepted a new position as vice president of procurement. In this new role, Peterson will have responsibility for the development and roll-out of a new strategic sourcing, procurement, and purchasing process for Staker Parson Cos. He has been with the company 25 years. Jared Hyde will succeed Peterson as vice president of finance and chief financial officer. Hyde joined Staker Parson's accounting team in 2007, bringing many years of construction-materials industry accounting experience. Scott Hinerman, who joined Staker Parson's accounting team in 2006 as corporate controller, has advanced to director of accounting and corporate controller. Hinerman will oversee all accounting functions and serve as the liaison between the accounting and the business analyst teams. Wes Marsden, longtime information-technology department director, will be joining the Staker Parson Construction South group as a business analyst. Alesha Pino, business analyst, will transfer from Staker Parson's Beck Street location to Ogden, where she will provide support for Staker Parson Construction North and Jack B. Parson Pocatello group. Pino will also offer support to the Ogden accounting department.
