Instead of replacing the Constitution with a user agreement (which users probably don't read, either) as Jeffrey Wilbur's letter to the editor recommends (Readers' Forum, Aug. 31), I would suggest that it be mandatory for every one of our governmental leaders to read the Constitution each year before the legislative session starts, then follow it during the year. Other countries are envious of our form of government and the freedom that we enjoy, but we, ourselves, are departing more and more from the way it was intended to be with each election, going to a more socialistic form of government.

Technology may change, but the basic needs of people are the same now as when Adam and Eve were on the earth.
