Mike Miles of Monroe and Nathan Tait of Sandy finished in a tie for first place in the second week of the Deseret News Prep Grid Picks Contest, and a random computer drawing gave the victory to Miles.

Both Miles and Tait picked 11 out of 12 games correctly and were just three points off the final score of Alta's 27-19 win over Bingham in the tiebreaker game. Miles wins $50 and a Grid Picks T-shirt. Tait and five other runners-up each win a Grid Picks T-shirt.

The other runners-up are Phillip Reiter, Salt Lake City; Issac Pena, West Valley City; Dwight D. Epperson, Park City; Terry Chadwick, West Valley City; and Scott Wilson, Vancouver, Wash.
