Is John McCain's choice, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, vice presidential material? No doubt, she has done a commendable job as her state's chief executive.
Her aggressive stances, suing the federal government to drill for oil in the Alaskan Wildlife Reserve and refusal to accept the infamous "$300 Million Sen. Ted Stevens Bridge to Nowhere," were bold, courageous political moves. She is an excellent mother with admirable values.
John McCain will be 73 years old when he takes office. The likelihood of him finishing a term of president is significantly less than his opponent's. Where would we be with Sarah Palin as commander in chief of the most powerful nuclear military force in the world?
Let us all pray for the continued good health of John McCain.
