Fifteen of Moab's local artists will open their homes and studios for the fifth Moab Artists Studio Tour this coming Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
"Each (artist) will welcome you into the intimacy of their creative environments to share their creative process and finished works with you," said Chad Neihaus, coordinator of the show as wells as a participating artist.
Moab has become an arts destination. In addition to the impressive natural scenery and variety of recreational opportunities, people visit its art galleries, attend folk, rock and classical music festivals, participate in the annual Moab Arts Festival and enjoy Moab's growing display of public art.
The city also offers literary, film, dance, theater and performance art events.
Participating artists in this year's event are Niehaus, Jacci Weller, Serena Supplee, Ted Sorensen, Robin Straub, Sandi Snead, Nick Eason, Carolyn King, Katy and Scott Anderson, Bruce Hucko, Jonathan and North Frank, Teri Ann Tibbetts and Bob Ridges.
