Democratic convention: Cable networks CNN, C-SPAN, FNC and MSNBC will provide coverage all day long. In prime time, presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama gives his speech at Invesco Field. PBS (Ch. 7) will be on from 7-10 p.m.; ABC (Ch. 4), CBS (Ch. 2) and NBC (Ch. 5) all plan an hour at 8 p.m.

The Moment of Truth (7 p.m., Ch. 13): Fox is the only one of the Big Four broadcast networks that is not carrying Sen. Barack Obama's speech. Instead, it's carrying this tawdry show. Yes, the Fox News Channel will carry the speech. And, no, the Fox broadcast network won't carry Sen. John McCain's speech next week, either. But it's still pathetic.
