LOGAN — For the third year in a row, a group of Utah State offensive linemen won the State Truck Pull Championships title, an event that benefits the Special Olympics here on Saturday.

The competition, consisting of pulling a 40,000-pound truck 20 feet in a timed event, was held on a closed-off street near the Cache Valley Mall.

In the 12-member division, the Aggies won with a time of 6.78 seconds, trailing their winning times of 6.6 in 2006 and 6.69 last year. In the open division, Saturday's fastest time was a blazing 5.50 by a team made up of the USU Aggies Special Olympian athletes.
