A grand jury has returned an indictment against a South Jordan man accused of running a Web site that sold thousands of counterfeit watches and sunglasses.

Between 2001 and 2003, the owner sold counterfeit Oakley sunglasses, Louis Vuitton wallets, Rolex watches and other items through his Web site, according to the indictment returned Wednesday.

The 32-year-old faces two counts of trafficking in counterfeit goods, with each count punishable by up to 10 years in prison and $2 million in fines. He also faces three counts of engaging in transactions derived from unlawful activity, a charge punishable by up to 10 years in prison and $250,000 in fines.
