SYRACUSE — Thirty golfers qualified for this weekend's Utah Open by shooting scores of 70 or better Monday at Glen Eagle Golf Course.

Kenny Coakley of Lakewood, Colo., and Chase Hite of Salt Lake led the way with scores of 65. Roger Harrison of Salt Lake, Ryan Anderson of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Chris O'Connor of Phoenix were a shot behind at 66.

Nick Travers, Jacob Kimball, Mike Rexroth, Chance Cota, Nicholas Mason and Josh Williams each shot 67, while Scott Phegley, Tyler Labrum, Keaton Woodland, Stuart Gold, Jonathan Taruc came in with 68s.

Other qualifiers were Patick Fishburn, Curt Watkins, Tye Alexander and Trevor Schultz at 69 and Matthew Baird, Vaughn Robinson, Chris Collins, Nicholas Despain, Jason Allen, Issac Jimison, Jeff Bricker, Tolliver Latham, Jeffrey Berkshire and Justin Lee at 70. Zac Blair, Jeremy Liddiard and Luke Sostrow also shot 70 but were eliminated in a 13-player sudden-death playoff.
