Several Mormon Olympians compete in tonight's Olympics in Beijing. It is Saturday morning in China, and results will be posted as they become available.

Jill Camarena of Tucson, Ariz. qualified in the Women's Shot Put Qualifying Round today. The athletes were required to throw the shot put at lease 18.45 meters or be in the top 12 performers. She threw 18.15 meters on her first try, 18.32 meters on her second try and qualified on her third try with 18.51 meters -- the best she has done this season. Final results for this qualifying round ranked her in twelfth place. Valerie Vili of New Zealand led the round with a throw of 19.73 meters.
