The Book Arts Program at the J. Willard Marriott Library will host a two-day workshop, "Tooling Around," taught by Jana Pullman, on Sept. 12 and 13, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. in the library on Level 1. The Utah Museum of Fine Arts was selected as Salt Lake City's 2008 Parents' Pick for Best Museum for Teens and Best Artsy Class for Little Kids as part of Nickelodeon's ParentsConnect's First Annual Parents' Pick Awards.

The Utah Arts Council will host a hints and tips session on photographing your own artwork on Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. at the Rio Grande Building (300 S. 400 West).
