HILL AIR FORCE BASE (AP) — The airman twice charged with attempted murder in two separate cases has been discharged from the service.

The U.S. Air Force says Daniel Eugene Clemons doesn't reflect its high standards of behavior.

Clemons, 19, was charged in the shooting of another man in a July 26 scuffle outside a Salt Lake night club.

New Jersey prosecutors say Clemons had been free on bail after being charged in a November home-invasion shooting in Trenton, N.J.

Col. Scott Dennis, commander of the 388th Fighter Wing, put out a statement Tuesday saying Clemons waived his right to appear before an appeals board days after the Salt Lake shooting and was immediately discharged.
