Salt Lake police were looking Tuesday for two men who robbed a Gen-X clothing store at gun and knifepoint.

Just before 7:30 p.m. Monday, two men pulled up to the store, 716 N. Redwood Road, in a blue sport utility vehicle. The passenger got out, pulled his shirt over his face, took out a handgun and demanded the clerk open the register, Salt Lake police detective Jeff Bedard said. The employee said that was something he couldn't do.

The driver of the SUV then entered the store holding a knife, Bedard said. A second employee was told to open the register and was successful. The robbers fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

The same store has been robbed twice before, in December of 2007 and November of 2006.

Anyone with information on the robbery can call police at 799-INFO.
