A 42-year-old man was struck and killed in Ogden Saturday morning.
The man attempted to cross Harrison Boulevard at about 5:36 a.m., Ogden Police Lt. Scott Conley said. The 19-year-old driver of the vehicle that hit the man, who was not in a crosswalk, was traveling at about the posted 50-mph speed limit, Conley said.
The victim, whose name was withheld pending notification of family, was pronounced dead at McKay-Dee Hospital. No charges had been filed against the driver by Saturday evening.
