OGDEN — A 16-year-old boy charged with murder in a gang-related slaying has rejected a plea deal.

Court records show Diego Mora changed his mind about entering a plea during an appearance Tuesday in 2nd District Court. A four-day trial has now been scheduled beginning Sept. 29.

Mora is charged as an adult with murder and aggravated robbery, both first-degree felonies, in the Sept. 21, 2007, shooting of a man at a convenience store parking lot last year. Mora was 15 at the time but was later certified as an adult.
