Of the 25 players who were able to finish their rounds at the rain-soaked PGA Championship in Michigan on Saturday, Utah's Mike Weir had the third best score — a 1-over-par 71 — which enabled him to move into a tie for 47th place after being right on the cut line the day before.

Weir's 71 puts him at 219 as he waits for the majority of the field to start their rounds today. He made birdies at Nos. 9 and 12 and had three bogeys on the day.

Former BYU golfer Dean Wilson is tied with Weir — his former college teammate — at 9-over par for the tournament, but he still has five holes to play today. He had a pair of 73s to start the tourney and, after starting with a birdie Saturday, made four bogeys including three straight at Nos. 6, 7 and 8.
