Why would the city of South Jordan and possibly the state support the idea of removing a very new and useful overhead crosswalk at 104th South and 1300 East? Even if the flow of pedestrians has lessened, the potential for a pedestrian-car accident involving a child or and elderly person with a car would be very high on such a busy street. Even if only one life is saved by keeping this overhead crosswalk, isn't that enough?
