OGDEN — Police are investigating a home invasion robbery during which a 13-year-old boy was nearly killed.

It happened around 11 p.m. Tuesday at an apartment at 425 Park Blvd. Police said a man, woman and a child were in the apartment when there was a knock on the door. The woman opened the door and three men rushed in.

"They started yelling, 'Where's the money? Where's the money?"' Ogden Police Lt. Tony Fox said Wednesday. "They put everyone on the ground. One put his gun up at the (juvenile's) neck and a round fired off."

The bullet missed the boy, who suffered powder burns and a cut from the gun firing. The three men fled, believed to be driving a white compact car.

Police said the victims say they don't know the robbers, who were described as two Hispanic men and a black man. Anyone with information is urged to call Ogden police at 801-629-8552.
