OREM — The bats came alive for the Orem Owlz on Thursday night. Christopher Garcia, Darwin Perez and Luis Jimenez each blasted home runs to lead the Owlz to a 9-0 win over Idaho Falls. Three different pitchers combined for Orem's fourth shutout of the year. The Owlz, winners of the Pioneer League South during the first half of the season, now find themselves in a four-way tie to begin the second half. GHOSTS 5, RAPTORS 4: At Casper, Wyo., Ogden's Nick Buss slammed a two-run homer in the top of the eighth to cut into the Ghosts' lead, but the Raptors' comeback fell short.
