OMAHA — Omaha scored 10 runs off the Salt Lake bullpen over the last three innings, as the Royals downed the Bees 13-3 on Thursday night.

The Bees tied the game at 3-3 in the top of the sixth inning on a run-scoring single by Ben Johnson, but Omaha roared back to take the lead on a two-run triple by Angel Sanchez. The Royals then scored another run in the sixth, three more in the seventh and four more runs in the eighth off of Jeff Kennard (4-3), who took the loss, and David Austen.

Giancarlo Alvarado recorded his ninth no-decision in 19 starts this season, as he allowed just three runs, two earned, on five hits in six innings with six strikeouts and no walks.

Brandon Wood led the Bees with two hits, including a double and a home run, two runs scored and one run batted in.

Kendry Morales and Adam Pavkovich each chipped in two hits, and Johnson added two hits and one RBI, as the Bees had their three-game winning streak snapped.
