OGDEN — A plea deal could be reached in the case of a 16-year-old boy charged as an adult in a gang-related slaying.

Court minutes said a pre-trial conference scheduled Tuesday in 2nd District Court was bumped after the teen's defense attorney suggested that there is a resolution pending in the case. A new hearing has been set for Aug. 5.

Diego Mora is charged with murder and aggravated murder, both first-degree felonies, in the shooting death of a man at an Ogden convenience store parking lot last year. Mora was 15 at the time.
