SANDY — People with a taste for sushi can eat and help feed the hungry Saturday night during a pre-grand opening of the Mikado Japanese Restaurant and Sushi Bar in the South Towne Commons in Sandy.

All proceeds from the $35-a-plate, three-course dinner, which is hosted by owners Watkins Restaurant Group from 5 to 9 p.m., will be donated to Utah Food Bank Services. Diners are encouraged to bring cash or a check made out to the food bank.

Seating is limited, and those wanting to attend should make reservations by calling 801-947-9800. The Mikado is located at 10395 S. State, Sandy.
